I'm humming to this tune. Just saying.
This is not a sponsored post. Within 10 days I got gifted chilles in various forms thrice.
Quite a chili coincidence! Like I'm on a spicy streak lately.
First my cousin brings be Harissa paste from Dubai (it's a standard gift for me). Then my neighbour got fresh Naga chillies and chilli paste from Nagaland. And then Arjit sent me chilli crisps. It's his own brand (Cronch & Co) started with his wife.
Now I don't only have chilles, I have content.

A great song for the 3 hours of Mumbai winter
I have frozen the fresh Naga chillies and will use them as and when required. They were also the first ones I used for the blog. As a topping for the spinach pasta I regularly make at home. (recipe in this post). I also made a spicy Guava cocktail. A very common recipe. But this was fiery because of the heat from the chilli, but the flavours of the blackberry and raspberry in the Bombay Bramble gin made it taste like a fruit bomb.
The next thing I did was bake a banana, fig and harissa cake. Thankfully this experiment worked. I plan to put this on my Christmas menu. So will hold on to the recipe till then. I served the cake with vanilla ice cream and figs blueberry compote. Just leaving my favortine person's (Chitra) favorite review she posted on a story here.

The third chilli. From Cronch and Co. It is so flavourful that I didn't want to experiment any recipes with it.
It starts with a burst of heat, followed by a wave of umami and a lingering citrusy crunchy finish. Food coma! Arjit and Mili....
I'm thinking of all the possibilities to pair it with. Fried chicken, fried fish, eggs, on top of noodles, pizza, pasta, daal chawal...
Or like I'm having now. Crisps with crisps.

Recipe time now.
2 medium onions, finely chopped
4-5 garlic pod, minced
2 medium sized tomatoes, blended
1 bunch spinach
1 packet button mushroom, chopped
1 cup mix of veggies you want (I used carrots and beans), chopped
1 cup milk
Mixed herbs, salt, pepper, as per taste
Olive oil to cook
Finely chopped Naga chilli in olive oil for topping (please use gloves for chopping)
The recipe video is from my Instagram reel.
Till next time, the original chillies of music.
